This comes after some chocolate makers are substituting cocoa butter (aka the good stuff) for vegetable oil. Who benefits from this war? Chocoholics like you and me!

Mars' claim to fame is that they use 100% real cocoa butter to make all of their chocolate. Without the cocoa butter, it just ain't the same chocolate.

Ever hear that white chocolate isn't real chocolate? It's because it lacks chocolate liquor. It is however, made from the cacao bean, because it is usually 20% cocoa butter.

Is Mars trying to push their brand as better chocolate? Sell more? Eventually raise prices? I think they are appealing to people like me, making sure they aren't pushed aside as just junk food, but actually as a decadent indulgence.
