So it seems I've turned into somewhat of a homebody. I mark my days by what show is on TV tonight. (Grey's Anatomy... hmmm must be Thursday.) Dancing With the Stars has been improving lately with the Macy's Stars of Dance Performance since the horrid Carmen Electra episode.
This week was a performance choreographed by Dee Caspary and was the best I have ever seen. I was a bit skeptical when I noticed a big scaffolding structure in the shape of a star center stage. We've all seen uncreative pieces where dancers crawl around on a similar structure. I was even more worried when I heard Coldplay's Viva La Vida was going to be the soundtrack. However, it turned out to be the most beautiful movement yet featured on the show.
Watch the video here.
Nick Lazzarini and Travis Wall from So You Think You Can Dance made cameos. I could watch it 100 times and not be bored. The movement wasn't at all cheesy or common. They used the scaffolding star very well, and all the dancers had amazing technique. Way to step up your game Dancing with the Stars!
